| Sherry Miller has been a member of the CMSA for 14 years! This means that she was around before it was even called the Country Music Singers Association. it was the "Mayfair Show" back then, and the monthly business meetings were held in the homes of various members! And she has made herself available throughout the years, helping with the growth of this association. From the signing for the "incorporation" of the CMSA, to the reading of the Tribute to Jan Barton, she's a willing member for many tasks. She's most famous for handing out the awards to the winning entertainers at our yearly awards banquet and show. She's even earned the nick-name of Vanna White! Sherry's professional life means helping others, too! She attended college as an adult, and obtained an Associates Degree in Science from OSUTI and began working as a Registered Nurse. After 10 years, she returned to school at Southern Nazarene University to obtain her Bachelors Degree. It took just 14 months of dedication, but she did it! Now that the ball was rolling, she continued her education and earned her Masters Degree! Her life recently took a new direction, with a new job in the Northeastern part of Oklahoma. So, while still a member, we just don't see her near often enough..... But she is thought of often, and with admiration. Not just for her entertaining skills, but for being an involved, active member of our fun association. Thanks Sherry! We love ya! |
