| ~~ Ariel Faith ~~ |
| Ariel Reeves Steidley, or Ariel Faith as she calls herself now, started singing very young. At the age 3, her parents noticed that she could remember the words to songs after hearing them just once! She would be heard singing the song days later... So, in time an office of grandma's was turned into a karaoke studio of sorts, and it still is a favorite place of Ariel's. Mylee (Ariel's mother) recalls her first public performance. She was in a Christmas play at church. Of all the young singers on stage, Ariel was the loudest, and knew ALL the words! She also was not very interestd in sharing the microphone!!! She's also a natural song writer. At the age of 8 she got into a bit of trouble once, and was given "time out" in her room. She wrote a song in that 10 minute time out! It was her first. At a talent show, she received a standing ovation for her rendition of "Somewhere over the Rainbow". At the age of 11, she visited a recording studio with the intention of recording a few songs for family and friends. That recording ended up landing her a performance in Toby Keith's I Love this Bar and Grill! She opened for an Elvis tribute artist. He was so impressed with her, that he had her to learn an Elvis song to sing the very next night! She also does very well in competition. She has won several awards within the CMSA, and qualified to go to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee each year. She has brought home awards from that competition every time she's has entered it. Currently she's working on releasing a new album of all ORIGINAL songs! Look for it soon, but until then be sure to look for her on a show near you! Search for her on "myspace" and look at her schedule. |
