| Seth was born in Springfield Missouri and has one brother and one sister. Of these, Seth is the oldest. When he was just 5 years old, the family moved to El Paso, Texas. His parents, Ron and Connie worked with the "Bearing Seed Ministry", taking groups of Americans on mission trips into Mexico and they also assembled Bibles on the property. Then at the age of 15, the family moved into Mexico to be involved in church planting (starting churches). Around the age of 15 is also when Seth started playing the guitar. He just couldn't put it down. He ended up adding quite a bit to the church services with his playing of the guitar! Seth's mom played the keyboard, and Seth accompanied her. After graduating High School in 2000, he taught in an English school for a year. After this, he decided to come back to the USA. The Heartland Baptist College in Oklahoma City is where he wanted to get his education. Living in Oklahoma agreed with Seth, and with his new college, it soon felt like home. While working at the Oklahoma County Jail, Seth met Bill Miller. Bill is a member of the CMSA and he convinced Seth to check it out, too! Little did Seth know that within the membership of the CMSA, he would find the love of his life, Ashleigh Larae! Music brought these two wonderful people together, and they can make beautiful music together. They have been doing duets on stage. So I suggest you look over the show schedule often, and plan to attend a show that Seth Winter is scheduled to be in. You won't be disappointed! |
