Singing in church was just the beginning.  While in the fifth grade, a local high school recruiter recognized her talents, and asked her to sing in the HIGH SCHOOL choir.  This opened many doors for Donna, singing as a soloist, duet partner, and in quartets, winning many medals and competitions along the way.

Vocals were just part of her talents.  She also has played the drums with a swing band, and was a member of an accordian club for a time.  With all these talents, she was able to organize a country and blues jam in Arapaho, OK.

Donna was married once, for 23 years.  Her husband passed away in 2001.  She has two sons.  The older is Leslie, and the younger is Brannon.

She worked as a cosmetologist in Arapaho for 25 years, as the owner of the "Orange Blossom Beauty Solon".  She was known to sing to her customers!  In 1992, she made Oklahoma City her home.  She has worked as a caregiver since then, and also for a time at the GM plant.

Her musical abilities have taken her on many journeys.  She has performed at the Heartland Opry, the Oklahoma Opry, the Clinton County Jamboree, witht eh Ray Stevens Country Band in Branson, and many other venues around this area.
